El Viso

The colony of El Viso, owes its name to the views it had, back in the days, of the Sierra de Guadarrama.
The construction of this colony began as a Cooperative of Economic Houses in the early twentieth century but ended up being inhabited by professionals and intellectuals of the upper-middle class due to its excellent location within Madrid and timeless design. In 1977, this historical colony was declared of Cultural Interest.
Today, it is considered one of the most exclusive areas of the city, which homes stand out for their simplicity and lack of ornamentation.
